4 Advantages of Instagram Live Taking Your Brand to the Next Level – Cloudbreakr Community

Instagram Live supports online marketing with preeminent features. Audiences who watch the livestream often ignore the “quality” aspect and care about the value you bring through the livestream. One of the advantages of Instagram Live is that the Live section will always appear on the Story toolbar. Make sure your Livestream is notified to users and is at the top of your followers’ story bar.

Why should you use Instagram Live?

Instagram is undeniably one of the most used social platforms. There are more than 1 billion users every month and still growing rapidly. Instagram not only attracts young people but also attracts a medium-sized follower file.

This is one of the most optimal social channels with the ability to display Live to users more than Youtube, Facebook or even TikTok. The Live section will always be visible to followers when they are using Instagram. Livestream time is not limited and can convey more content than short videos posted on Instagram or Story…

In addition, your followers will be notified when the live stream starts, which can be frustrating for your audience but helps increase your exposure to customers.

At the end of the Livestream, you can still save it as a Story (in a separate and highly visible section) for the next 24 hours.

So how to start Instagram Live?

1. Set goals

If you want to get the most out of your Instagram Live videos, you need to define a goal, a general plan for the entire campaign as well as a specific purpose for each Livestream to be sure to convey the right message to your audience. row.

Once you know the goal, you should have a detailed table of time, content, script, etc. for each live stream. This helps the brand to have a unified view as well as a clearer purpose.

Don’t forget the Call To Action during Live and viewer interaction helps to measure the effectiveness of the Livestream.

2. Scheduling

One of the first rules for developing any social media marketing activity is time consistency. Readers expect new content from you at a certain time, if the content is valuable people will want to come back to see a new clip at a specific time.

Traditional TV channels are on the rise but it still does a good job of scheduling programs for example current trending programs: Vietnamese Rap , Sisters, Sisters, Who Is It… has a follower file Follow up loyally and follow a predetermined routine. The show has a lot of commercials but that doesn’t stop the audience from staying and looking forward to the next episodes.

Therefore, you must schedule the Livestream on Instagram. This helps you market your products in streams and as an event throughout the campaign.

3. Format video

Your live stream should always provide value to your viewers. Your audience will love that you use a consistent format. Just like people want to know the time of your live stream, they want to know the value they get from watching your Livestream.

Some popular formats:

  • Interview – This is a way to make a Live better when there is interaction instead of just boring monologue. You need to choose the right audience, who are product experts or influencers with a potential audience. If the guest has a stable number of followers, the Live will attract more views.
  • Behind the scenes – Create closeness to the audience. Show them the production process, the people who create the product, the workplace… This makes customers excited as well as builds their trust with the brand.
  • Introduce key product benefits and features – Use Livestream to let customers see many other uses and how to apply them in their daily lives.
  • Q&A – Livestream helps you interact better with customers, this is an opportunity to answer questions from viewers. However, it is necessary to prepare a few backup questions in advance during the start of the Live.
  • Product Launch – Instagram Live is a great opportunity to showcase a new product. Before that, it was possible to run ads to attract audiences, make them curious about upcoming products, and create action to follow Livestream when the product launches.

4. Livestream advertising on Instagram

It is very difficult to get the audience to automatically follow your Livestream. You need to let your audience know about the product and the Livstream program, then constantly remind about the airtime. It’s no coincidence that there are a lot of promotions in live TV shows, this also applies to Instagram live streams.

In addition to Insta, other social sites also need to post detailed product information or announcements about an upcoming Live. And always leave a link to lead to your Instagram page. Use social media managers to allocate the right Livestream promotion schedule.

5. Prepare before you start

Before starting you need to prepare the “studio” for the program. Use your phone to Live and “studio” will be anywhere you like, can use a microphone to make the sound better. Just make sure there is enough light as well as quality sound for viewers to receive the most complete and clear information.

You won’t be able to keep your audience for long with the screen shaking or the sound being too low, or sometimes the wifi is too weak. Invest in a tripod or portable wifi transmitter to make the Livestream the most stable.

Prepare a detailed Livestream script so that the content can be transmitted throughout that broadcast.

6. Use Instagram Live in Story

The Story feature has created success for Instagram, so they have invested in more features such as: Livestream, video, Q&A, challenge…

To start a Livestream, go to the Story section of Insta and use the camera on the Story tool (Story is like a camera that can take and record clips but works on Instagram)

You should decide the duration of the Livestream. When the time is up, gradually stretch the interaction to be ready to end and don’t forget to Call to Action to the audience.

Tap “End” in the top right corner of the app to stop the Livestream.

15.  Save and Share Livestream

Depending on the save options you set earlier, the video can be saved to the Camera Roll (or Archive) at the end of the recording. Click the “Save” icon in the top right corner.

Finally, tap the “Share” button at the bottom of the screen. It will convert your video into an Instagram Story, making it viewable for the next 24 hours.

If for some reason something went wrong and you don’t want to share your video, you can select “Discard”.

When you share your video, your followers will see it in their Instagram Story, a thumbnail from your video, covered with a “Play” icon. They also have the right to see comments and likes from the broadcasted Livestream.
